Belarus had budget deficit of 0.2% of GDP in 2012

MINSK. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Belarus had a central, budget deficit of 1.003 trillion Belarusian rubles or 0.2% of GDP in 2012.

Budget revenue was, according to preliminary data, 17.299 trillion rubles and spending - 18.704 trillion rubles in December, the Finance Ministry said on its website. The data was compiled according to International Monetary Fund (IMF) (SDDS) standards.

Revenue for January-November was 84.142 trillion rubles and spending was 83.74 trillion rubles, so revenue for the year was 101.441 trillion rubles and spending - 102.444 trillion rubles.

GDP grew 1.5% last year to 527.4 trillion rubles (8,660 rubles/$1 on Feb. 1).
