Putin appoints Pechyony acting governor of Magadan region

MOSCOW. Feb 3 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin has appointed Vladimir Pechyony acting governor of Magadan region until the inauguration of the elected governor the region, the Kremlin press service reports.

This follows from a decree signed by the president.

The term of Magadan region governor Nikolai Dudov has expired.
