Astana to guarantee proper conditions for P5+1 talks on Iranian nuclear program
ASTANA. Feb 4 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan will create all of the conditions for the success of the P5+1 talks (the UN Security Council's five permanent members plus Germany) on the Iranian nuclear program in its territory, spokesman for the Service of Central Communications with the Kazakh president Altai Abibullayev has announced.
"If all interested sides to the negotiating process reach a final and official agreement on the date and place of the talks, we, as the hosting side, will make every effort to create the most favorable conditions for successfully holding the talks in the territory of this country," he said at a Monday briefing in Astana.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi announced that the P5+1 talks on the Iranian nuclear program would be held in Kazakhstan on February 25.
