Rosneft undisputed leader in oil production growth rates in Jan

MOSCOW. Feb 4 (Interfax) - Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft was the undisputed leader among major Russian oil companies in January in terms of growth rates of oil and gas condensate production, boosting output 2.8% year-on-year, according to the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK).

Gazprom Neft and Bashneft increased the growth rates of oil production by 1.5% each in January, while Surgutneftegas ramped up that figure by 1%.

The production growth rate for Tatneft edged up 0.4%, and LUKOIL's rate rose 0.3%.

Meanwhile, Slavneft cut its oil production rate by 3.7%, TNK-BP saw its rate fall 2.2%, and Russneft decreased its rate 1.2%.
