Orlen Lietuva refinery to supply trader Vitol with $1.5 bln worth of oil product this year

VILNIUS. Feb 7 (Interfax) - The Lithuanian oil company Orlen Lietuva, wholly owned by Poland's PKN Orlen, concluded with the Swiss oil trader on Wednesday a $1.464 billion deal to supply diesel fuel produced at the Mazeikiai refinery this year, PKN Orlen said on the Warsaw exchange information system.

An agreement they clinched last year had Orlen Lituva supplying with $1.665 billion worth of oil products.

Under contracts signed last year, the Lithuania refinery supplied products to he international logistics company Maersk (fuel oil for $1.141 billion) to Statoil and LUKOIL subsidiaries in Latvia and Estonia (for more than $600 million), and also to Cargill International (gasoline for $691 million).

PKN Orlen owns 100% of the shares in Orlen Lietuva, which includes the Mazeikiai Oil Refinery, the Butinge Terminal and the Birzai Oil Pipeline.
