Gazprom loses representative on Zapsibgazprom board of directors
TYUMEN. Feb 7 (Interfax) - The board of directors of OJSC Zapsibgazprom on February 4 approved the list of candidates to the Tyumen-based company's board of directors, leaving out the representative from Gazprom , Zapsibgazprom said in a statement.
In particular, the list excludes Sergei Mitrokhin, the Deputy Director of the Division for Cooperation in Transportation, Marketing, Investment and Construction within the Corporate Protection Service at Gazprom. Natalya Nefedieva has been nominated in his place. Interfax was unable to obtain information on which company she represents.
Zapsibgazprom's board of directors currently comprises seven people, five of which are representatives of LLC Metropol Investment Finance Company. Those members include General Director of Zapsibgazprom and Metropol Yury Vodopyanov, member of Zapsibgazprom's board of directors Sergei Zhitikhin, Project Management Director at Metropol Irek Salimov, Director for PR and International Activities at Metropol Bair Tsyrenkov, Mitrokhin, Corporate Management Director at Metropol Olga Mokhoreva and Metropol's CFO Olga Yuzvikova.
On January 9, Gazprom slashed its stake in Zapsibgazprom from 76.79% to 0.21%, selling 76.58% of the company's shares to Metropol for 127.5 million rubles, which is counterbalanced by Zapsibgazprom's payables, which totaled 2.24 billion rubles at the end of September.
Zapsibgazprom is a large conglomerate of oil and gas construction, machine-building and chemical assets. Metropol has managed a controlling stake in the company since 2007.
