Russia received warning from N. Korea about planned nuclear test - Foreign Ministry source

MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Pyongyang warned Moscow about the planned nuclear test.

"Some without looking into the situation claim that nobody warned us unlike the United States and China. The North Koreans warned us at the same time as they warned the United States and China," a high-ranking source at the Russian Foreign Ministry said to reporters.

"It is a different matter that we simply did not find it necessary to declare it loudly. We made a conducted demarche, a tough demarche upon receiving the warning. We are sorry that we were not heeded," he said.

North Korea conducted underground nuclear tests on Tuesday.
