TNK-BP to invest $120 mln in oilfield development in Krasnoyarsk territory this year

KRASNOYARSK. Feb 15 (Interfax) - TNK-BP will invest $120 million in oilfield development in the Krasnoyarsk territory in 2013, according to a socio-economic cooperation agreement signed with the territorial government on Friday.

The document enshrines TNK-BP's intention to continue implementing the investment projects aimed at developing the Suzunskoye and Tagulskoye fields, which are located in Taymyr.

TNK-BP plans this year to undertake preparatory work at the Suzunskoye field, which is scheduled for launch in 2016.

Last year, TNK-BP invested 3 billion rubles in projects in the Krasnoyarsk territory.

Altogether, TNK-BP owns more than 20 licenses for field development in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District and the Krasnoyarsk territory.
