Putin orders immediate aid for people affected by Urals meteorite fall

MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov to extend assistance to people affected by Friday's fall of meteorite fragments in the Urals region.

"Every effort should be made to objectively estimate the damage. People have been injured. Assistance must be provided to them immediately," Putin said.
