Medvedev, Cuban leaders to discuss cooperation in energy, industries
MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will discuss cooperation in energy and industries with President of the Cuban Council of State and Council of Ministers Raul Castro in Havana. A meeting with Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro is not excluded.
The Russian premier will pay a working visit to Cuba on February 21-22. He will come to Havana from Brazil.
The Russian delegation says a meeting with Fidel Castro is possible; a similar meeting took place in the previous Cuban visit of Medvedev. "If doctors permit, we will certainly have a meeting. Everything depends on the Cuban side," a Russian delegation member told Interfax. He did not say if the meeting had been requested.
