CIS monitors praise Armenian elections for being competitive

YEREVAN. Feb 19 (Interfax) - The Commonwealth of Independent States' election monitoring mission praised the Armenian presidential elections held on February 18 for being compliant international standards.

"Our opinion of the elections is positive. The elections proceeded in a competitive atmosphere and complied with international standards," mission chief Sergei Lebedev told the media.
