Dollar lower, euro higher at open on Moscow Exchange on Wed

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The dollar is slightly lower against the ruble and the euro is gaining in early trading in Moscow on Wednesday.

The dollar traded at 30.035-30.07 rubles/$1 after the first minute, 1-2 kopecks below yesterday's close and 7 kopecks below the official exchange rate for Wednesday.

The euro began the day at 40.34 rubles/EUR1, 6-7 kopecks higher than yesterday's closing and 11 kopecks above the official rate.

The bi-currency basket ($0.55 and EUR0.45) started the day at 34.69 rubles, about 2 kopecks above yesterday's closing value.
