TNK-BP plans to sign PSA with Vietnam in H1 2013
MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - TNK-BP plans to sign a production-sharing agreement on the 5.3.11 block in Vietnam in the first half of 2013, Senior Vice President for international projects Boris Zilbermints told journalists.
"We won the tender to this block. Now we are completing talks concerning every nuance of the production-sharing agreement, reaching agreement with the Vietnamese state bodies. We hope to sign the PSA in the first half of the year and immediately begin seismic work," he said.
The company is also working to agree a contract on deliveries of gas from Petrovietnam's Bien Dong field and linkage of the field to the pipeline co-owned by TNK-BP. "Participation in the gas pipeline will provide significant revenue to TNK-BP in Vietnam," Zilbermints said.
