LUKOIL to start geological exploration on Yakutia coast - Alekperov

NOVO-OGARYOVO. Feb 20 (Interfax) - LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that his company intends to start geological exploration on the coast of Yakutia.

During the meeting, Alekperov pointed out the locations where LUKOIL wants to start exploration work on a map.

"This is the 'backwaters.' With your approval, we began detailed work to start building infrastructure there," Alekperov said.
