Early termination of Lomakin's powers as State Duma deputy included in State Duma agenda for Friday

MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The State Duma on Friday will consider a request made by State Duma deputy Anatoly Lomakin (United Russia faction) for early termination of his powers.

The State Duma Council included that issue in the State Duma agenda for February 22.

According to earlier reports, Lomakin, a billionaire, was registered as a State Duma deputy by the Central Elections Commission on August 22, 2012, after receiving the mandate given up by Yury Trutnev, a presidential adviser and former natural resources minister.

Trutnev, in turn, had received his mandate after it was vacated by Andrei Klimov, whose parliamentary powers ended early after he became a senator.

Forbes estimates Lomakin's worth at $1.2 billion.

Before giving Lomakin his parliamentary mandate, Central Elections Commission Secretary Nikolai Konkin said he would have to stop his business activities.

On Tuesday, the State Duma terminated the powers of Vasily Tolstopyatov, a member of the A Just Russia faction of the State Duma. According to media reports, opposition activists have noticed his "excessively high revenues."

Vladimir Pekhtin, the head of the State Duma ethics commission, stepped down as a State Duma deputy on Wednesday following media reports stating that he owns undeclared real estate in the United States.
