Belarus to raise petroleum product transit tariff 12% on April 1

MINSK. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Belarus will raise the transit tariff for petroleum products 12% on April 1 2013 to $2.34 per tonne, transited over 100 kilometers. The decision has been written into Economy Ministry resolution No. 14, which was published on the National Legal Information Center website.

The previous tariff hike on April 1 2012 was 10% to $2.09 per tonne over 100 km.

The decision to raise tariffs is taken in accordance with an agreement between the Russian and Belarusian governments on interaction in the operation of trunk petroleum product pipelines in Belarus.
