Brazil takes interest in Russian Tigr armored vehicles

BRASILIA. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Brazil has taken an interest in buying Russian Tigr armored vehicles.

"We have met the client's request for reinforcing parts of this vehicle, such as the hood, installing the air conditioner and so on and hope the client will be interested in this vehicle. As far as we know, the vehicle has caught the attention of the police and some other authorities," Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service head Alexander Fomin said.

He said that the vehicles had been tested in Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro, for a year.
