Current head put forward for CEO of UTair

KHANTY-MANSIYSK. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The supervisory board of Russian airline UTair Aviation has confirmed the candidacy of company head, Andrei Martirosov, as CEO of the company for re-election at the upcoming AGM, the airline said in a press release.

UTair did not confirm the date of the AGM.

The board also confirmed a list of eight candidates for the new board.

The list includes seven current board members:

Surgutneftegas Deputy CEO Sergei Savin, Surgutneftegas Pension Fund Executive Director Ruslan Gabdulkhakov, Surgutneftegas Senior Investment Specialist Ilya Larichev, UTAir CEO Andrei Martirosov, UTair Advisor to the CEO Vyacheslav Novitsky, LLC Invest-Saschita CEO Oleg Yeremenko and former advisor to the CEO of Surgutneftegas, Sergei Fyodorov.

There is one new candidate - former deputy CEO of UTair Vladimir Sidorenko.

The board currently consists of seven seats.

UTair is one of Russia's top three passenger airlines and one of the biggest helicopter operators in the world.

Surgutneftegas Pension Fund owns 60.75% of the company.
