EU expects Tehran's positive response to P5+1's proposals
MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Michael Mann, the chief spokesperson for EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, expressed the hope that Tehran would give a positive answer to proposals the P5+1 made at the negotiations in Almaty.
Speaking to Interfax following the talks, Mann said the EU hopes the Iranians will answer positively to the proposals and move ahead toward building confidence, which should advance the negotiations and help ultimately resolve the problem in a diplomatic way.
