Kazakhstan hails decision made by Sextet, Iran to continue talks - Foreign Ministry
ASTANA. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program held in Almaty on February 26-27 contributed to the strengthening of mutual understanding between Iran and the international Sextet, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said in an official statement.
"The meeting participants agreed to continue discussing ways of resolving the current issues at the level of experts in Istanbul on March 18, 2013 and hold the next round of the top-level negotiations ion Almaty on April 5-6," the statement issued after the negotiations on Wednesday says.
"Kazakhstan hails the parties' decision to continue the negotiations, reiterates the need to resolve the problem solely by peaceful, diplomatic methods, and confirms Kazakhstan's readiness to receive the next meeting between the delegations in Almaty on the stated dates," the document says.
