Ukraine still wants to establish free trade area with Customs Union - foreign minister
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Ukraine still considers a 3+1 format the most acceptable form of cooperation with the Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian Customs Union, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara said.
"The 3+1 format remains the most acceptable form of cooperation with the Customs Union for Ukraine, in which our state could be involved through the establishment of a free trade area with the Customs Union and accession to these or those agreements of this inter-state association in certain sectors, taking into account interests of all parties without exception," Kozhara said in an exclusive interview with Interfax.
