Russian oil export duty to rise $17.30 to $420.60/tonne March 1

MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - The export duty on oil in Russia will as of March 1 be up $17.30 at $420.60 per tonne, according to government resolution #150, signed on February 25 and published on the official government website on Friday.

The current export duty is $403.30/tonne.

The duty rate break on Eastern Siberian oil, Caspian deposits and the Prirazlomnoye deposit will starting March 1 be $211.40/tonne in comparison with the current $198.50/tonne.

The duty on highly viscous oil will be $42.00 compared with the $40.30 in effect since February 1.

The duty on light and dark oil products, which since October 1, 2011 has been unified at 66% of the duty on oil, will be $277.60/tonne in March. It has been $266.20/tonne since February 1.

The duty on gasoline exports, based on a ratio of 0.90, will increase to $378.60/tonne from $363.00/tonne.

The duty on liquefied gas will be $131.40/tonne, down from $200.30/tonne.

"According to Russian Finance Ministry data, according to the federal budget for 2013, revenues from export customs duties on oil and petroleum products should be around 271 billion rubles in March 2013," the government said in a press release.
