Moldovan MPs could vote in favor of cabinet dismissal on Tuesday
CHISINAU. March 5 (Interfax) - Moldova's pro-Western government could be dismissed on Tuesday following a vote of no-confidence, a Communist Party parliamentarian told Interfax.
The vote of no-confidence was proposed by the opposition Communist Party after documents proving corruption in the Moldovan government were published and the ruling Alliance for European Integration found itself on the verge of collapse.
"We demand a vote of no-confidence in the government. Either this cabinet will be dismissed or we will face a revolution. There is no third option," Moldovan Communist Party leader Vladimir Voronin said.
"The Communists will do everything they can to collect the number of votes needed to dismiss the government. However, there is no clarity at the moment," a party member told Interfax earlier.
