Russian deputy foreign minister to meet with Burns, Brahimi, Hague in London on Thursday
MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov will meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and UN and Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi in London on Thursday.
"There is a general agreement on Mr. Bogdanov's meetings with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and UN and Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi in London, on the sidelines of a 'Friends of Yemen' meeting being arranged there," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said at a news conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
While in London, Bogdanov will also meet with a number of European politicians, including British Foreign Secretary William Hague, he said.
