Sollers' ZMZ may replace four of nine board members
NIZHNY NOVGOROD. March 7 (Interfax) - The board of directors of Zavolzhskiy Motor Plant (ZMZ) from Nizhny Novgorod, an engine maker in the Sollers group, has approved 12 candidates for seats on its nine-member board of directors, the company said in a statement.
The list includes only five current board members. The other seven candidates are: ZMZ General Director Andrei Matyushin; UAZ Executive Director Roman Gann; the deputy head of Registrar R.O.S.T. Tatyana Burlakova; head of legal issues at the Moscow representation of NCH Advisors, Inc Andrei Morozov; Institute of Electrophysics Problems managing director Vladimir Telbukhov; and two deputy heads of Investor Protection Association: Alexander Shevchuk and Igor Repin.
The five incumbent candidates are: CEO of Sollers and UAZ Vadim Shvetsov, AVB Deputy General Director Yevgeny Gerasimov; NCH Advisors attorney Roman Ishbulatov; Association of Russian Automakers Igor Korovkin; and CJSC R.O.S.T. Corporate Projects Ludmilla Mironova.
The incumbents on the board who were not nominated for another term are: Russian Direct Investment Fund Director Alexei Germanovich; Sollers Public Relations Director Zoya Kaika; Sollers CFO Nikolai Sobolev; and Sergei Yurasov, previously the head of ZMZ and UAZ.
The ZMZ board of directors is expected to decide on the date for the AGM at a meeting on March 11.
ZMZ is a leading Russian producer of internal combustion engines.
