MOSCOW. March 8 (Interfax) - The rector of the State University of Management has been detained on suspicion of accepting a bribe, Interfax was told at the press center of the Interior Ministry Main Department.

"Officers from the Interior Ministry Main Department for Economic Security and Corruption Resistance have caught in action the rector of the State University of Management who is suspected of accepting a bribe in the amount of 7 million rubles," the report says.

"It has been established that this person demanded a financial reward through his representatives from a commercial organization employee in exchange for signing a 58-million-ruble contract for maintenance and cleaning of the university premises," it said.
