Two Russian sailors freed in Nigeria
LONDON. March 11 (Interfax) - Three sailors, among them two Russian nationals, abducted by pirates off Nigeria, have been freed, the ship owner Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. said in a communique on Monday.
"The three sailors are in good health and are in safety after spending 31 days in captivity," it said.
The British dry cargo ship, the Esther Sea, was attacked on February 7 180 kilometers off the Nigerian Port of Harcourt . Three crewmembers were abducted.
