Dollar unchanged against ruble

MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - The dollar is unchanged and the euro edging down against the ruble in early trading on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) Tuesday amid mixed sentiment in the world capital markets.

The dollar traded at 30.715 rubles/$1 after the first minute, level with yesterday's closing and 4-5 kopecks below today's official rate.

The euro began the day at 40.03 rubles/EUR1, which was 2 kopecks below yesterday's closing and 4-5 below the official rate.

The bi-currency basket ($0.55 and EUR0.45) started the day at 34.905 rubles, 1 kopeck below yesterday's closing value.
