Finance minister predicts add'l 2013 budget spending of 500 bln rubles

GORKI. March 12 (Interfax) - Additional Russian budget spending this year could run to five hundred billion rubles, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said.

"This is five hundred billion rubles for additional projects that arise during the fulfillment of the budget. They include social projects. These are perinatal centers, kindergartens, investment projects, infrastructure [projects], and transport infrastructure," Siluanov told the press Tuesday after a meeting conducted by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the subject of mobilizing additional federal budget revenues.

Siluanov said that the five hundred billion rubles represents additional needs, "for which it is proposed to seek additional revenues and additional resources."
