Surgutneftegas produces 4.7 million tonnes of oil in Feb
MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - Russian oil major Surgutneftegas produced 4.7 million tonnes of oil in February 2013, following production of 5.2 million tonnes in January, the company said.
Daily production in both January and February amounted to 167,000 tonnes per day.
Surgutneftegas produced 1.1 million tonnes of oil in the two-month period at fields in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
It produced about 2 billion cubic meters of gas in January-February.
Surgutneftegas targets production of 61.4 million tonnes of oil in 2013, about the same as in 2012.
Surgutneftegas posted production gains in 2011 and 2012, after a string of production declines (1%-4% a year) beginning in 2006. The company produced 65.6 million tonnes of oil in 2006, a nine-year high.
