Moscow and London may establish cooperation in defense and arms trade - Shoigu

LONDON. March 13 (Interfax) - Russia and Great Britain may get down to the establishment of defense and military-technical cooperation.

"We have agreed on further steps to arrange not only military but also possibly military-technical cooperation," Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a press conference in London following 2+2 talks.

He also thanked his British colleagues for their willingness and determination to share their experience in guaranteeing security ahead of the Olympic Games in Sochi.

Speaking of the London talks Shoigu noted: "We spoke of many things in fairly great detail. Many issues were only raised. They require additional discussion and further dialogue."
