Moscow, Minsk agree to cooperate in Antarctica
ST. PETERSBURG. March 15 (Interfax) - Russia and Belarus have agreed to cooperate in Antarctica.
Russian Natural Resources and Ecology Minister Sergei Donskoi and his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Tsalko signed the document in the presence of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko after a meeting of the Union State's Supreme State Council.
In all, over ten joint documents were signed.
Putin and Lukashenko signed the Union State's Supreme State Council decree on budget 2013 and a resolution summarizing results of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in 2011-2012.
The Union State budget will amount to 4.87 billion Russian rubles this year. Sixty-five percent will be donated by Russia, and Belarus will contribute the rest.
The Supreme State Council also signed a resolution on the execution of the joint action plan of the Union State foreign policy in 2012-2013.
Putin and Lukashenko signed a resolution on the Union State Border Committee chairman.
