Russian Defense Ministry, Federal Military-Technological Cooperation Service to exchange info on prices for military products

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry and the Federal Service for Military-Technological Cooperation have signed an interaction agreement under which they would exchange information on the prices for military products, the Federal Service for Military-Technological Cooperation said in a statement available on its website.

"The said interaction should ensure exchange of information on prices for the general range of military products with the aim of pursuing a unified government policy in forming foreign trade prices for military products, including with the aim of observing the government policy of pricing these products, which should restrict the chances that export prices for military products would be lower than the prices for Russian consumers, and also with the aim of efficient control and supervision over the setting of foreign trade prices by entities involved in military-technological cooperation at a competitive level," it said.

"The agreement envisions the possibility of exchanging information in an electronic form, which would make it possible to promptly receive information essential for optimizing and improving the process of setting foreign trade prices for military products," it said.
