Russian consolidated budget receives 10.8% more taxes in 2M
MOSCOW. March 19 (Interfax) - Russia's consolidated budget received 1.458 trillion rubles in taxes in January-February 2013, 10.8% more than it received in the same two months of last year, the Federal Tax Service (FTS) said.
Federal tax revenue came to 801.87 billion rubles and consolidated regional revenue was 656.025 billion rubles, including 146.74 billion rubles for local budgets.
The Russian consolidated budget received 31.886 billion rubles in corporate profit tax and 429.047 billion rubles in natural resource extraction tax (NRET) in the two months.
Value-added tax on goods sold in Russia amounted to 250.07 billion rubles, up 3.8% year-on-year. In past years, VAT growth has been more marked at around 10% in past years. The Tax Service said growth in refunds related to investment projects by major oil and gas companies would continue to influence VAT returns in 2013.
VAT on goods brought into Russia amounted to 16.598 billion rubles in the two months.
