Gold in Central Bank of Russia reserves up 0.6% in Feb

MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia had 31.4 million Troy ounces (976.7 tonnes) of gold in its reserves as of March 1, 2013, up 0.6% or 202,600 oz (6.3 tonnes) from the end of February, the CB said on its web site.

The gold was worth $50.522 billion on March 1, 2013, down 2.8% from February 1.

Gold accounted for 9.6% of the reserves as of March 1 and 9.5% on January 1, 2013.
