H1N1 flu virus claims 26 lives in Georgia

TBILISI. March 22 (Interfax) - Another person died of H1N1 flu virus in Georgia.

A total of 26 people have died from the H1N1 flu virus in Georgia, the Georgian National Center for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday.

The center said that people aged 30 to 64 accounted for the most deaths. In most cases, the reason people died was delay in seeking medical assistance.

Center employees said they expected the dynamic of the virus expansion to decrease by late March.
