Putin replaces Summa owner with RDIF chief on APEC advisory council

MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an order dated March 19, has confirmed the three Russian representatives on the Business Advisory Council of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) for 2013-2015.

There is only one change in comparison with the list for 2010-2012, which was confirmed by Dmitry Medvedev in 2010 - Kirill Dmitriev, who heads the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), has replaced Ziyavudin Magomedov, the owner of Summa Group.

VTB CEO Andrei Kostin and Basic Element (BasEl) owner Oleg Deripaska were reappointed as representatives of Russia on the Business Advisory Council.

In 2012, when Russia hosted the APEC forum, Magomedov chaired the Business Advisory Council.
