China opposes interference in countries' internal affairs - Xi Jinping
MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Beijing strongly opposes foreign interference in countries' affairs and believes these countries should decide how to develop on their own, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said.
"All countries should promote the formation of a new type of international relations together based on the principle of cooperation and universal benefit. It is necessary to respect the right of all countries in the world to choose ways of their development on their own and oppose interference in internal affairs of other countries," Xi said in his lecture at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) on Saturday.
"All countries should be equal," he said.
