Rosneft appoints five directors for upstream block of merged company

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Rosneft , which finished buying TNK-BP last week, has appointed five directors for the business subdivisions of the merged company's upstream block, a company spokesman told Interfax.

Andrei Lazayev will be the vice president and chief geologist; Eric Liron will be vice president for drilling, development and service; Zeljko Runje will be vice president of shelf projects; and Sergei Brezitsky will be vice president for production. Nikolai Ivanov was appointed advisor to the president and director of the planning, efficiency management, development and upstream investments department in the rank of vice president.
