Oboronservice case suspect Vasilyeva faces new charge - Russian investigators
MOSCOW. March 28 (Interfax) - Yevgenia Vasilyeva, who is suspected in the Oboronservice real estate fraud case, has been charged with selling shares of the 31st Special Purpose Construction Institute valued at over 190 million rubles at discounted prices, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax on Thursday.
"Vasilyeva has been charged with illegally selling stock of the 31st State Owned Special Purpose Construction and Design Institute valued at more than 190 million rubles to commercial companies at discounted prices," he said.
These fraudulent stock sales involved employees of a company co-owned by the wife and daughter of former Russian Deputy Defense Minister Grigory Naginsky, who today heads the Federal Special Purpose Construction Agency, he said.
"The Investigative Committee has already secured the return of the shares to the institute's current administration," Markin said.
