CoffeeShop Company to invest 130 mln rubles in 20 new Russian coffee shops
ST. PETERSBURG. March 28 (Interfax) - CoffeeShop Company plans to open 20 coffee shops in Russia in 2013, Maksim Yakovlev, the marketing director at LLC Coffee set, told the press in St. Petersburg Thursday.
The company has already opened five new coffee shops this year in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Krasnodar. Another five coffee shops will be opened shortly. Total investment this year is planned at 130 million rubles.
Three to four coffee shops will be opened in St. Petersburg, Yakovlev said.
CoffeeShop Company was established in Austria and the first coffee shop was opened in 1999. The company currently has around 250 outlets in 20 countries including Germany, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, China and the United States. In Russia the chain is being developed through franchise company LLC Coffee SET. Russia has 69 coffee shop chains, 36 of which operate in St. Petersburg.
