MOSCOW. April 1 (Interfax) - Mosenergo expects to see 21 billion-21.5 billion rubles earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in 2013, the generating company's head of budgeting and management accounting, Sergei Poltavtsev, said during a conference call.
Revenue of 152 billion-153 billion rubles is forecast.
Mosenergo could generate as much electricity as in 2012, or "a little less," Poltavtsev said.
The company had 20.25 billion rubles EBITDA and 157.1 billion rubles revenue in 2012.
As for dividends, the company acts in line with its dividend policy, which is to allocate between 5% and 35% of annual net profit for this purpose, said Alexei Kuzmin, head of the corporate department. He did not say what sort of dividends might be expected for 2012, saying only that "according to statistics," dividends had been 10%-11% in recent years.
Kuzmin also said the company had not received any directives regarding the payment of at least 25% of net profit as dividends - this standard was adopted for state companies last year, but Mosenergo is controlled by the Gazprom group and follows its own dividend policy for now.
