Putin had to translate Russian reporter's question for Merkel

HANOVER. April 8 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin proved his perfect knowledge of the German language once again when he translated for German Chancellor Angela Merkel at a news conference in Hanover.

Due to some technical issues, Putin and Merkel stopped hearing the translation of questions Russian reporters were asking.

The Russian president had to translate for Merkel the questions of a Russian reporter - whether the German side resolved its concern over the inspection of non-profit organizations in Russia and whether the situation in Cyprus could become a universal way to solve financial problems of other EU countries.
