Transneft, Siemens to collaborate on oil pumping station modernization

MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - Siemens and Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft signed a strategic cooperation deal to modernize and renovate oil pumping stations during the international industrial exhibition in Hannover, Siemens said in a press release.

Siemens will participate in the expansion of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline, manufacturing and frequency transformers.

Siemens will have the opportunity to participate in the modernization of other Transneft facilities, such as the Novovelichkovskaya #1 pumping station and Sheskharis trans-shipment complex.
