Raspadskaya boosts Q1 coal output 44% to 2.3 mln tonnes

KEMEROVO. April 8 (Interfax) - The Raspadskaya coal group boosted coal production 44% year-on-year in Q1 2013.

The Kemerovo regional administration said in a statement that the company raised output by 700,000 tonnes. It produced 1.59 million tonnes in Q1 2012 so it must have produced 2.29 million tonnes in Q1 2013.

The company itself is not commenting on the information.
