Gazprom, Gasunie sign letter of intent to extend Nord Stream

AMSTERDAM. April 8 (Interfax) - Russia's Gazprom and the Netherlands' Gasunie have signed a letter of intent to extend the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline.

The deal, signed by the chief executives of Gazprom and Gasunie, Alexei Miller and Paul van Gelder, was part of a program for a visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Netherlands.
