Surgutneftegas sees three-fold hydrocarbon reserves growth potential in Yakutia

TALAKAN. April 9 (Interfax) - Surgutneftegas estimates there is a three-fold potential for hydrocarbon reserves to grow in Yakutia, the company's CEO, Vladimir Bogdanov, told reporters.

"We estimate the potential for reserves in Yakutia to be three times what they are now," Bogdanov said.

He said that at present, Surgutneftegas was working at four fields in Yakutia. It plans to put another on stream soon.
