Suspected member of int'l drug dealing gang caught in Samara

SAMARA. April 9 (Interfax) - Uzbek citizen Danier Inoyatov has been caught in Samara peddling nine kilograms of hashish. He is suspected of distributing large amounts of narcotics in Russia, the regional department of the Federal Security Service said on Tuesday.

"An active member of an international organized criminal group smuggling and distributing drugs in Russia is apprehended. The drug money might have financed operations of the Jamaat Ansarullah international terrorist organization," the report said.

The criminal case was opened on the charges of attempted distribution of large amounts of drugs.
