Dollar slips, euro edges up Tuesday
MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - The U.S. dollar slipped on the Moscow Exchange on Tuesday, whereas the euro posted moderate gains, resulting in a minor decline in the ruble against the bi-currency basket.
By 7:00 p.m. Moscow time, the dollar had fallen 6.45 kopecks over yesterday's close to 31.155 rubles/$1.
The euro was up 10.25 kopecks to 40.68 rubles/EUR1, and the bi-currency basket had grown 1 kopeck to 34.44 rubles.
