Kyiv supplied no weapons to Libya since military conflict erupted - Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
KYIV. April 10 (Interfax) - Kyiv denies supplying weapons to Libya and thus violating the UN embargo.
"According to the information of the Foreign Ministry, Ukraine supplied no weapons to Libya since the military conflict erupted in the country," acting Director of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department, Yevhen Perebiynis, told Interfax.
The Washington Post newspaper reported on Wednesday citing an account given to the UN Security Council, that Ukraine as well as United Arab Emirates, Armenia and Albania illegally supplied weapons to Libya, to Muammar Gaddafi's regime.
